Hugo, GravelPassion

Made in Italy, these two garments share a common identity: that of gravel. With their sober, elegant design, loose fit and exemplary comfort, they are particularly interesting for bikepacking.

On the bike, you feel free with no pressure points thanks to the relaxed fit. Coming from the road, I wasn't accustomed to using this kind of garment on a bike, but I have to say, you get a taste for it!

A quality European outfit, but one that doesn't really deserve to be called winter, at least not for the jacket, which in my opinion isn't warm enough to ride serenely if the thermometer dips below 7/8°C without sunshine.

The shorts, on the other hand, are very good, providing good insulation from the cold and water splashes, while being perfectly designed and comfortable even over long distances, for a very reasonable price..

I totally approve of these shorts and their value for money. I appreciate the generous size of the pockets, which hold all my gear. With these shorts, I can wear a shirt, blouse or polo without pockets. As for the shirt, I liked the look and the quality of the fabric, which I'm sure I'll appreciate even more this autumn, with even a tee-shirt underneath.

CYCLOSPORT, Product review "special bibshorts" N°152

This pair of bib shorts is our favorite of the month, but we can't say for sure, as one pair of bib shorts may appeal to one cyclist, but not to another. We're all different. We find these bib shorts exceptionally comfortable and supportive, whatever the duration of a ride, thanks in particular to their flat, lightly siliconized straps, as well as the wide 7 cm bands at the bottom of the thighs.

Despite affordable prices compared to the competition and manufacturing in Spain, Chef de File manages to offer a quality, versatile and technical set that will delight cyclists looking for jerseys and shorts for the summer season with a modern design.

Fabrice, Trace Ta Route

The jersey is very light, breathable and comfortable to wear, even in very hot weather like we've had this summer. I never felt the need to open it wide, even in the collars, as I often do with other outfits. As I like to do, the jersey fits snugly and doesn't float at all. In the end, it's easy to forget.

Chef de File - maillot cyclisme été vert

Nathan, Velo de Route

This Chef de File set proved to be very versatile. In addition to being pleasant to wear, it performed equally well on the road and on the trails. The designs are equally effective, in short, everything to seduce. It won't be leaving our wardrobe anytime soon!

The fabric is fine, pleasant to wear, and the models are all very well cut, a real second skin. Wearable in temperatures of 20 degrees and above, in my opinion, precisely because of its thinness, this is truly a collection for fine days. It's also highly breathable thanks to its lycra and honeycomb sleeves. A reflective strip on the back makes it easier to see. And last but not least, they've added a small flap inside the back pockets to minimize the risk of losing objects. In terms of design and color, you'll have a choice of several that can be mixed, which I think is pretty cool!
