Cancelling an order: Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights

The European Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights states that you have fourteen (14) calendar days to cancel your order placed with Chef de File. We will fully refund the purchased items and standard delivery costs if you paid for delivery charges.

The conditions for cancelling your order under European Directive 2011/83/EU state that:

  • The fourteen (14) calendar days are counted from the day after receipt of the order or its availability at a collection point.
  • If you decide to return the entire order and have paid delivery charges, we will refund the Standard delivery charges (€5 for a pick-up point). If you paid for faster delivery (Colissimo 48h at €10, we will not refund the supplement).
  • To cancel your order, we need written confirmation of cancellation. You can contact us using our various contact options (email, contact form) to inform us of your wish to cancel your order under European Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights. You can also complete the withdrawal form below and send it back to us. You will find instructions on how to return it on this form.
  • You will need to return the items you wish to cancel. Once you have informed us of your order cancellation, you will need to send us the withdrawal form and we will explain the procedure to follow.
  • Items must be unworn and in their original condition and packaging. The order can be returned in packaging other than the one in which you received it, but it is your responsibility to return them properly packaged. An inspection of the products will be carried out upon receipt. If an item is returned in an unsuitable condition, we may have to return it to you and in that case, we will not refund you.
  • IF we do not receive the order you have cancelled, we reserve the right to make arrangements to recover it at your expense.
